“First up was an HR Screen. Then, a 1-hour online live coding interview where I had to solve 3 LeetCode questions and answer some Python fundamentals questions. After that, I had a 1-hour onsite technical interview with a Senior Engineer. Next, a 1-hour onsite interview with the Hiring Manager. Finally, a culture fit interview.”Candidate-reported process
“The interview process was intense, with 5 hours of technical assessments spread over two days before I even got to speak with the hiring manager to see if it was a mutual fit. The interviewers were consistently late, with one starting 15 minutes behind schedule and other interviews running an hour over. It felt like a really gruelling experience. The interviewers seemed disorganized, and I found myself answering the same questions multiple times with different people. I was really disappointed with the entire process; it felt like a complete disregard for my time.”Candidate-reported process
“I interviewed in Q4 2020. I was offered a position but turned it down because I live in Toronto and relocating was a big issue. On the bright side for Morgan Stanley, you can search their job site and apply to multiple roles. The recruiter was nice, so I ended up applying for four positions. It looks like there were four rounds in total. The first was an HR outreach, followed by a phone technical interview. Then there was a virtual on-site interview, and the final round was with a manager. The technical interviews mainly covered basic Python data structure questions, similar to easy LeetCode problems.
