“So, the interview started with this online HackerRank test that was all about math and coding. It had problems on quantitative reasoning like probability and logic, and also coding challenges where you had to write good, efficient code, thinking about time and space complexity. After doing well on that, I got to do a HireVue interview. It was a recorded interview with behavioral and motivational questions. They asked about working in teams, times I solved problems, why I'm interested in finance tech, and if I fit with Goldman Sachs' values. It was pretty structured and technical, really testing analytical skills and how I communicate.”Candidate-reported process
“Screening had two parts. First was basic SQL, some behavioral stuff, and why I wanted the job. Second part was more SQL focused, specifically on different join types, then two situational questions.”Candidate-reported process
