The interview process
Described in candidates’ own words.
“2 rounds - 1. They asked easy to medium DSA questions 2. They asked GIT and an easy DSA question. I did not clear round 2 so I dont know after that. Otherwise Amazon is good company so try to be as prepared as possible.”Candidate-reported process
“There were 4 interview stages. The first one was more personality focused and generic, and the next ones were all technical with different people. It was a pretty standard interview, but I’d say you get extra points for knowing their leadership principles.”Candidate-reported process
“The interview process usually has two main rounds: Technical Round focuses on problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. It includes questions on operating systems, networking, databases, scripting (Python, Bash, etc.), and basic cloud concepts (AWS basics). HR / Behavioral Round is based on Amazon’s 16 Leadership Principles. The interviewer asks behavioral questions to see how you deal with challenges, ownership, customer obsession, and teamwork. You can expect “Tell me about a time when…” type questions, and you should answer using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result).”Candidate-reported processMore reports lockedRead 300+ more interview experiences
